About Dr. Brenna

Dr. Brenna Erickson is a passionate professional Chiropractor with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine that she earned from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward CA. She is a gifted adjuster and is well practiced in many different chiropractic techniques, including Activator Methods, both basic and advanced, Diversified, Gonstead, Sacral Occipital Technique, Network Spinal Analysis, Extremity Adjusting, Toggle Recoil, Drop Table, Pediatric and Pregnancy Adjusting Methods, Webster Technique, KT Taping, and Active Release Technique methods. She worked closely with Dr. Christopher John, leader of DNFT Chiropractic, and completed her advanced DNFT Chiropractic training with Dr. Jennifer Hawes in Chico, CA.

Dr. Brenna is the only chiropractor in Minnesota who specializes in Directional Non-Force Technique and is very excited to offer this unique and gentle technique to the Twin Cities.

Dr. Brenna seeks to put compassion back into health care by providing an attentive, whole hearted service.  Her practice is tailored to the needs of each individual as she makes time for face to face communication to assure everything is addressed. She prides herself in gentle, specific, neurologically focused care. She is often praised for her detail and attention, clinical diagnostic skill, and her warm approachable manner.

Dr. Brenna grew up in a holistically minded environment where chiropractic care,  homeopathic remedies, herbal infusions, and essential oils were complementary to a healthy lifestyle.  She grew up eating organic and  helped grow food in her family garden every summer.

She has always been fascinated by the human form and briefly considered becoming an MD in order to help people achieve their optimal health.  However, she was discouraged by many aspects of the industry's contradictions, and shifted her focus to psychology and the connection between mental and emotional health and its contribution to human health.

While attending undergrad at the University of Minnesota, she became fascinated with the History of Medieval Medicine with the writings of Galen to the principal tenants of alchemy, and the curious balance of the four humors. She studied early medical methods and how they developed into germ theory, surgery, and the philosophy of medical care we know and receive today, as well as where it is going in the near future.

In addition to her professional passion Dr. Brenna is always working on some sort of project. In her spare time she can be found at home developing lip balm recipes, mixing up a batch of cold process soap, sewing,  knitting, drinking tea, or baking. You might find her catering meals for local film sets.  Or you might find her in the woods: foraging, exploring, and expanding her knowledge of local plants and their uses.  Her life’s goal is to know a little bit about everything in the universe.
